I will obtain detailed information from
you, primarily though a structured telephone interview, which will be
much like a
job interview, except that I will be on your side. Usually,
interviews take 30 to 60 minutes. If necessary, we will have a
follow-up interview. I
will
record interviews (which requires your permission) so I do not miss
important information
and to help me to tailor my writing to suit you
and your audience. By this
process, usually I find very relevant information
that my client has
not considered.
I will write your application and send it
in the form of Microsoft Word documents attached to an email. I will
format
documents professionally, either for printing as presentation
documents or in a form suitable for pasting into on-line
text boxes for
an online application process.
Turnaround time
If possible, you should contact me well before the close
date for applications. However,
depending on my workload and
priorities, I may be able to prepare your application on short
timescale.
Document acceptance
After you receive the documents from me, you should examine them
critically and let me
know if you desire any changes or additions. I
will be pleased to continue to work with you to ensure that the
material
it is as suitable as possible for your purpose and to help you
to feel "ownership" of the documents. I want to ensure
that you can
confidently defend the documents when you are interviewed by the
selection panel.
